The Family Center its Parenting Journey Training Institute Announce A Spring Campaign to Grow Strong Families!

The Family Center and its New York-based Parenting Journey Institute (The Institute) are partnering with Yo-Yo Ma, the New York Yankees, and Urban Zen to host A Celebration of Parenting, a spring campaign that highlights the strength and resiliency of families. The campaign will kick-off on May 10 with Parenting Journey Night at Yankee Stadium with a special pre-game ceremony celebrating The Institute’s work with families. We will host and recognize approximately 200 families that have participated in the Parenting Journey as they watch the Yankees take on the Kansas City Royals. Our efforts continue the following week with a benefit dinner on May 19, 2011 at Stephan Weiss Studio, An Evening Celebration of Parenting, including a pre-event reception, dinner and private performance by renowned cellist, Yo-Yo Ma. The goal of the evening is to raise awareness and support for the critical work of The Institute.
